Why roof age decides insurance outcomes
Insurers price and renew against roof age because it is the best single predictor of a water or wind claim. In Florida, carriers can require an inspection once a roof passes 15 years, and a roof that cannot document at least 5 years of remaining useful life risks non-renewal. How do I find out how old my roof is?
